Meet Dr Berna Venter
Dr Berna Venter is a specialist Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 15 years of clinical experience across South Africa and Australia.
She trained and worked in private practice in Johannesburg before moving to Australia, where she has spent more than a decade working in public hospitals, including tertiary referral centres managing complex obstetric and gynaecological cases.
Her experience includes high-risk pregnancy care, operative obstetrics, and general gynaecology. She has also been actively involved in service development, training, and improving clinical systems within the hospital environment.
Dr Venter founded Coral Sea Women’s Health to create a more streamlined, patient-focused model of care — with greater continuity, accessibility, and personalised attention than the public system can usually provide.
